Mixed Media on Chicken Wire, Commissioned Installation and Public Artwork, 2014

Serpentine, Commissioned Installation, Mixed Media on Chicken Wire, 100 in. x 120

Serpentine was commissioned by curator and professor Teresia Bush on behalf of the Howard University, James A. Porter Colloquium, http://www.art.howard.edu/portercolloquium/

I lead workshops and studio sessions regarding using recycled materials and found objects to create public art, with a Howard University public art class. We created a public artwork, Serpentine using recycled materials primarily collected and donated by the students. Additionally, I presented about the experience during the 2014 Porter Colloquium.
